Pat Jacoby, owner of Patty-Cakes has over 35 years of experience in creating award winning cake designs. Our team of cake decorators and bakers are very talented and can create the cake of your dreams! Pat’s youngest daughter Chef Leah is carrying on in her Mom’s footsteps, joining her in the business in 2008!
Due to our unique personal and professional touch, our cakes are widely recognized as edible masterpieces! All cakes are baked fresh using only the finest ingredients. We specialize in custom designing from the simplest small cake to the highly elegant wedding cakes. No order is too small or too large.
You may have seen us on TLC’S “Ultimate Cake Off”. Pat’s team won First Place in season 1, and First Place in season 2, and to date are undefeated!
We keep up on the latest trends by attending classes, seminars and conventions every year. We are members of ICES, a worldwide cake decorator’s organization.

Meet Pat Jacoby, Founder and Owner
Pat Jacoby, owner of Patty-Cakes in Highland, IL is an award-winning cake designer with over 35 years of experience. Pat opened her cake studio in May of 1981 and has been designing cakes ever since. Her skill in the design of cakes, stems from a lifetime interest in art and the love of creating something “different”.
In addition to teaching cake decorating for years, Pat demonstrates new skills and techniques to her fellow sugar artists at seminars, cake club meetings, and ICES Day Of Sharing. She is also a frequent demonstrator at ICES (International Cake Exploration Society) conventions. Pat travels the US and Canada teaching her craft and has a bi-monthly segment on “Great Day St. Louis” KMOV Channel 4.
Pat was the assistant to her friend, Ashley Vicos in December 2008, in the Food Network Challenge “Disney Classics Cakes”. They took second place in that competition. Click here to view the cake.
